Ruth I was sorry to hear about Gene.  We had a great time bowling with both of you and staying up later than I wanted on a work night to eat pizza. I always wondered if he still had his can of peanuts on the table next to his chair? I will never forget those jokes he told and told and told.  He loved to laugh and kid around. You and your family are in my prayers.  Take care, Janis

Ruth and Family,

We were saddened to hear of Gene's passing.  He is at peace now and without pain.  His battle was a long one.  We will always remember the happy times.  Fishing, bowling, and the time we danced the night away at the Ramada Inn.  It still makes me smile thinking of Gene and I dancing in the strobe light and him singing along with the band, a little louder than they were.  They asked him to go up and sing with them, and he did!  That was a fun time!  And that is how we will always remember Gene.

Our love and prayers to all of you,

Jackie and Jim O'Laughlin
